PRIMARY COLORS RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT CAPABILITIES AND INNOVATIVE PROGRAMS
For most of its existence as a company, Primary Color has served as a principle test-bed for key industry technologies. Of particular note are our relationships with Heidelberg North America, Adobe Systems, Epson America, Hewlett Packard, EFI, Epson, Vutek and Kodak, with whom we have partnered in both alpha and beta testing of a variety of products and services. Primary has been privileged to count itself as a member of the prestigious Heidelberg Concept Customer Consortium. This special relationship with a key industry vendor has given us the opportunity to interface directly with Heidelberg’s technical and product planning facilities. It has also allowed us to interface with a worldwide network of Heidelberg’s key customers. Together, we evaluate Heidelberg products and services and recommend courses of action based on our findings. We have been at the forefront of technology in regard to remote proofing, inkjet printing and proofing and industry-leading software solutions such as InDesign and CS5.

Primary has its own dedicated R&D team, ably led by Mr. Jay Sato. In his capacity, Jay has been instrumental in developing and perfecting color management techniques and protocols. Since 2007, our company was designated as a G7 Master Printer by GRACoL (General Requirements for Applications in Commercial Offset Lithography), which certifies that we have demonstrated our proficiency in the application of key technologies to print production. Ron Hirt, our VP of Sales and Marketing shares these technologies and its advantages with clients through quarterly seminars and newsletters.
