How does Primary Color consistently produce “best in class” printed material for our clients? This is our core service and the foundation of good print reproduction. We like to emphasize the importance of pre-media and our intelligence in this area and recognize this as a differentiator from other printers. The basis of good printing starts with good files, color management, how ink prints on substrates and an artistic eye to know what makes a good image. The printed material is the culmination of all the up front intelligence. Our creative skillset ensures we manage color to maximize the visual impact across all printed media. Our precise production of printing files takes full advantage of all printing techniques, presses and devices. And it all takes place around the clock, at Primary Color’s two world-class pre-media facilities.

At Primary Color, we’ve dedicated more than 70,000 square feet to large format printing. The shop floor includes 21 specialty printing devices, giving us tremendous advantages in meeting the quickest turnaround times. Three of our devices are 16 ft. wide, giving us the ability to print run quantities large enough for national rollouts. And at Primary Color, we never sacrifice quality for quantity, all 21 of our devices are color managed using the G7 method. The result is color matched print campaign materials across all print mediums and substrates. After all, color consistency is brand consistency. And isn’t the integrity of your brand the most important consideration of all?
When our clients demand oversize, high run-length digital printing, Primary Color has what it takes: The revolutionary M-Press Tiger. The newest addition to our pool of press equipment, this hi-speed, flatbed, inkjet press can handle up to a 65″ x 104″ sheet size and run speeds up to 175 sheets per hour. A digital silkscreen unit applies in-line primers, varnish, spot color, gold, silver and white as well as thermal or scratch-’n-sniff inks. We can print for backlit applications with perfect registration front to back. The flatbed technology allows us to print on any substrate that measures between 0.007”and 0.39” thickness (80# cover stock to 3/8” thick substrates). And with the M-Press Tiger, variable data integration allows us to seamlessly introduce variation of the elements for the Packaging and POP markets.
With fabric and especially backlit fabric applications being a popular choice for exhibit and retail designers, Primary offers 10ft. wide, high speed, dye-sublimation fabric printing. Our Vutek TX3250r dyes the fabric directly so the fabric retains its drape and soft feel. This device can produce soft signage that is odorless, achieves bright colors, wrinkle resistant and can be washed and handled without harming the print. The TX3250r creates soft signage, backlit signage, banners, POP products, flags, and produces beautiful prints for tension fabric and pillowcase applications. These fabric prints can be folded for easy transportation, reduce shipping costs and leaves a greener footprint.
