Photography
Primary Color maintains a professional in-house creative photography studio, which utilizes state of the art camera equipment by Sinar and Canon as well as Broncolor lighting equipment for all studio photography applications. Our studio is supported by a team of the best color reproducers and creative retouchers in the industry providing our clients with many creative image capture and manipulation options. We are also fully mobile for off site location photography. Simply put, whether shooting for a billboard or a web banner we have the right staff and equipment to deliver the job on time and on budget.
Creative Retouching
Our studio is directed by Jake Rogers and specializes in creative photographic retouching for acclaimed photographers, global advertising agencies and national brands. We collaborate with creative directors and photographers through the concept stages and provide insightful solutions and guidance during the project. Our grasp of composition, lighting, stylizations and cross media usage enables us to realize our client’s creative vision. Jake’s experience and knowledge covers all print technologies, CGI, photography and visual arts enabling him to manage the creative process and provide multi platform files for all applications.
Production Design
As a provider of on demand pre-media services to the graphics industry,
it is customary for us to provide both creative mechanical and production services for our clients. Our services include layout creation and correction, key art and master file resizing, low and high res image placement, style guide verification, proofreading, mechanical distribution, mechanical print outs, mounting as well as presentation boards for display. Complimenting our signage installation services we offer Location Signage Planning and Cad Drawing for digital fly throughs and space planning. Primary Connect provides web page design, conforming brand consistency into your
storefront portals and navigation pages.
Pre-Media Workflows
Primary’s heritage and core competency is pre-media. We specialize in identifying process improvements, creating streamlined workflows and implementing these solutions into our day-to-day operations. We collaborate with our clients supporting them to harness these powerful, innovative and proven solutions and integrating them with their own design and prepress studios. This integration allows our clients to address such needs as – color managed work environments, remote proofing solutions, converting to an on-line approval system, image and file database management, legacy file conversions, conforming files to new standards, integrating marketing data with print data, web-to-print and print-on-demand integration and any data intensive pre-media functionality.
Structural Design & Engineering
Primary’s print production engineers transform creative ideas into well executed printed material by engineering production workflows, recommend substrates, printing techniques as well as bindery, finishing and delivery options. Our structural designers provide CAD drawings and sample mock-ups for POP, packaging, binders, 3D products and any printed products with unique characteristics or moving parts. We have engineered solutions for grammy award winning music box sets as well as cost saving solutions for retail applications. The product knowledge of our engineers recommend and offer advice for paper, ink, print techniques, bindery, finishing, pack-out and delivery options.
Event Graphics & Signage
Primary has a dedicated team specializing in the design, execution and installation of signage and graphics for events, exhibits, trade shows and experiencial marketing programs. We provide up-front site inspection services that recommend solutions for event managers, architects, designers and construction contractors. Our 3D digital animations enable stakeholders to visualize graphic sizes and placement assisting the design process. Our product engineers coordinate building inspections, element exposure, substrate selection and hardware options providing a turnkey solution from initial production to final take down. Primary executes solutions in sports stadiums, hotels, malls, convention centers and all experiencial marketing locations.
Out of Home
Primary’s OOH specialists provide a complete solution including up front media campaign management, in plant print production and final material quality control services, ensuring a successful execution and installation of your OOH media buy. We develop collaborative relationships with media buyers, posting companies and facility managers providing us with tools to effectively co-ordinate production lead times, material and finishing requirements with posting dates and locations. Our production facilities and press room experts are experienced in the manufacturing of building wraps, transit signage, street graphics, vehicle graphics, barricades, mobile media, experiential campaigns, airport and mall takeovers, station dominations and aerial as well as the integration of digital billboard campaigns.
Retail In-Store Marketing
Primary comprehends the marketing importance of impactful in-store visuals, the consistency of brand integrity, and the precision of on time delivery. The collaborative interaction between our production and your marketing, design, procurement and store managers is achieved through our internal controls measuring quality of product, consistency of service and on time delivery. Cross Media Campaigns
Our Primary Connect solutions division enables us to offer web-to-print workflows and programs allowing for effective management and tracking of direct marketing campaigns. Connecting print media to on-line media is of strategic importance to many marketing programs, allowing for real time tracking of results, streamlining the print production process and reducing manufacturing overages. Our Pre-Media design team consults with clients on the implementation of QR code, text message and augmented reality integration with printed material. Our teams are supported by in-house programmers enabling us to offer customized direct mail campaigns by including PURL generation and connectivity to on-line communication tools and social media networks.
