The CrossFit Games are the world’s premier test to find the fittest on earth. The Games competitors will have to prove that they are not only fit but capable of handling the unknown. No one knows what the events will be. The event takes place at the Home Depot Center in Carson, California.
Primary was tasked to provide complete event management of all visual communications for the 2011 CrossFit Games. This included the site survey, production of all print material, inventory management and installation of graphics. Every application was unique involving several moving parts. Primary had to coordinate the process between designers, CrossFit’s logistics team, Home Depot Center management, installers and major promoters. With event sponsors getting picked up at the last minute, Primary knew they would have to be ready to produce and install graphics right up to the very last day.
CrossFit found their solution with Primary Color. Primary’s team of experienced engineers, product specialists and installers were able to offer effective material recommendations and solutions for best brand exposure. Utilizing Primary’s 3D rendering capability, CrossFit was able to visually see the event space prior to the graphics getting installed and use this service for sponsorship proposals. With Primary’s color managed workflow, all printed pieces from large format signage to event programs were all consistent in color.
Since choosing Primary Color, CrossFit had a very well branded event that created an amazing visual experience for the competitors, sponsors, fans viewing live on the website and for television viewers. Not only did Primary provide complete event management for all visual communications for CrossFit, but they made the whole process simple.
