PacSun has brought the essence of California lifestyle to the East Coast with a 10,000 square foot pop-up shop retail experience right in the heart of New York Cities SoHo District. Primary produced several graphics for this two story pop-up shop including wallcoverings, dimensional lettering, canvas banners and a stunning 16’ x 15’ lenticular wall display. This New York pop-up will be open through Labor Day.
The challenge for this store was the lenticular wall display. This display reveals a different image depending on where the viewer stands. Our designers had to determine the specific angle to position each face so there would be no distortion of the image when completed. This system had to ship easily, install quickly, have all hardware hidden after graphics were applied and the depth of the display had to meet strict NYC building codes.
Our designers produced a 3D model of the lenticular display so they could determine all technical aspects of the system. Specs for the hardware and printed material were determined from this 3D model. A ‘fly-by’ animation was also developed and it gave the client a rich viewing experience so they could visualize the display prior to being built. Then sizes were turned over to the client so they could build the artwork.
“I wanted to take the opportunity to extend my utmost appreciation for your and your team’s endless hard work, meticulous attention to detail, and overwhelming support throughout this project. The work your team contributed to the store is without a doubt the beating heart of everything we were trying to accomplish when we set out for New York, and would not have been possible with any other partner. As always, you guys not only met our expectations, but surpassed our best possible outcome by ten fold.”
