Shepard Fairey + Primary

Shepard Fairey, the famous street artist, graphic designer, activist, illustrator, and founder of OBEY Clothing chose Primary to produce lithographs for his online store. And we couldn’t be more thrilled. 

At Primary, we love nothing more than celebrating the creativity and culture of artists with our expertise and craft of fine art print making.

The paper choice was Cream Speckletone, by French Papers. A thick, recycled, and very high end stock that was created in 1955. It is the first-ever recycled sheet with flecks and shives.

French Paper Company has been manufacturing paper for more than 140 years.

The posters were produced on our 41” Heidelberg, 10-color perfector press. Maximum density was achieved and our LED UV capability makes the color pop on the stock.
